Hola guys. :) Today I went and rode Blue. After 3 long weeks I have finally collected all eight milk jugs I needed to make my dressage letters. So needless to say we did western dressage, which is techniqley reining; Blue and I did it without all the fancy spins and stops though. xD My mom caught most of our amazingness on tape, even the moment I'm most proud of: a completly perfect walk/canter transition. I'll definatly have that video up soon, I have to upload it first.. Ugh. Actually my laptop doesn't have Kodak on it.. Hmm maybe I could put it on a cd and.. Haha Sorry guys. I'm rambeling. Anyways my school has been cancled tomorrow, as well as the neighboring county. Which as it just so happens my best friend lives in. She is coming over tomorrow and we're going to ride! It's only light hacking and roundpen work. No major anything. Blue worked SO HARD for me today he isn't going to have to endurance or condition tomorrow. :) And I feel like a terrible person for not posting new years resolutions so here you go:
1. Get Blue started on the basics of english riding. Walk/trot/canter. Jumping over 2 feet.
2. Foxhunt with Indigo.
3. Get Indigo to jump over our record which is about 2'6.
4. Buy a fly sheet and get Blue to wear it to he doesn't bleach out!
5. (this one's for me) Hit an out-of-the-park homerun. Do bouncing crap like what happened last year.
