Dressage & Test Rides

Hi everyone. :) I have had an awesome weekend. Friday night my best friend Megan and I went so se the ahhmazing third installment of Twilight, New Moon. I spentthe night as well. We got up early and went to lessons (she rides in the 9:30.) I helped out, and let me tell you Indigo was not a very happy camper with two novices on him the whole lesson. He just shut down at one point and said ''Ouch. These kids are HURTING ME.'' He got about an hour and a half's rest between lessons, so then the second lesson kids caught their horses and tacked up.
We worked on Dressage, which by the way is one of my favorites, but this is a heartbreaker. Indy was having an off day with his feet. He kind of has some soundness issues in the winter time. Poor Mr. Indigo could not pick up his left lead for anything in this world' he was also a little slow striking off. So from now on if I see Indigo is not having a very good time with his feet for that day, I am going to ride Gus for that lesson.
After lessons Mrs. Beeler and I went and looked at that Buckskin horse again, but this time I rode him. He was amazing. ;) If I had 5,000 dollars laying around I would buy him in a heart beat. He is that nice and sweet. If.....
Maybe I can sneak in a private lesson over Christmas break? Hmm. More posts up this week. :D
