Hi guys! Indigo and I had our weekly lesson again today! :) We worked on bounces today, which is one of Indigo's biggest challenges. He is an Ex-racehorse, so his stride is so very massive he has to constantly lengthen and shorten, and just basicly adjust his stride whenever he is behind another horse, so bounces are hard for him sometimes. If he doesn't get a good spot comming into the first jump, he is just off for the whole thing. We only had one very bad line, and one stop, I consider that a sucsess.

We also did an excerise where you trot down the centerline and halt at the rail, IndyBoy was confused at first at what to do, whether to follow the horse going along on the rail or to listen to me. He chose me. I love him and how much trust he has trust in me. My official lease on him starts sometime this week, probably around Wednesday, SOOO hopefully a post everyday or so from there on out!!
