I kept my promise this time ;) Yes I do have a post up on time for once =o! Anyways, today I helped with the 1 oclock lessons; I played instructor while my REAL instructor helped a new student out. I led excerises and helped a little boy named Silas with his posting trot. I am taking all the credit for that, by the way. He didn't really understand what ''go up with the right/left shoulder'' meant, so I used the same techinque as my instructor, Mrs. Beeler, used for her son, Reid. I took him back down to the walk and yelled ''up. down. up. down. up. down.'' to him for about half way around the arena. We then progressed to the trot, and you could see this light bulb go off in his head and he was like ''OHHHHH!'' I love helping with the little kids. :)
My lesson, regretfully, didn't do as well as Silas's. Indigo was ridden in the first lesson by one of my best friends, named Brandi, therefor he was tired. We did crosscountry, not one of my favorites. Don't get me wrong. I love to jump; just not cross country. I was HORRIBLE today, I either was letting Indigo have too much of his head and he was running out, or I was ristricting to much and he was refusing! ARGG. It made me mad. I don't know what it is about that ONE JUMP he just hates it.
While I was doing one of many holding patterns, I freaked myself out: what do I do if I get on a foxhunt, and Indigo refuses? Or I come off. Or he refuses like 8 times? I don't know about it anymore.... So worried. I just want to school crosscountry everyday, even though I can't do that. That would be unfare to Indigo.
I don't know if you know this, but I dont technicly ''own'' Indy. He is a lesson horse owned by Mrs. Beeler. My lease on him fell through. My fault. So I am currently looking for a horse to buy, and I am going to look at some Thourghbreds. Very excted. Post on them later this week.
Ta Ta for now. :) <3
