Hi guys! I've been on Fall Break since Thursday, so I've been at the barn everyday since. :)
Thursday we (Sara and I) got to the barn at about 9:30, we caught our trainer and another boarder at the farm, Suzanne, in her private lesson. It was okay though, they conditioned in the front pasture. They left and started conditioning, so we brought our horses up, tacked up, and we were ready to go! We rode in the arena, and after about a 20 minute warm up, we started our usual flat work; walk, trot, canter, transitions, circles, collection, ect. Indigo and I especially worked on moving out at the trot and canter, and then collection in the corners. He had alot of energy, but I suppose that's fine.
Then, yesterday it was farrier day. I went and caught a particularly rude horse named Jefferson into the stall, and he tried to race me in. He did a little hop and squished me between his body and the wall. I was very angry with him, so I let the farrier, Rodney, handle it. All was well after that, SOO after Indigo and Belle got their feet done we tacked up and went on a conditioning ride in the front pasture. We warmed up my walking the perimeter of the pasture, then we started the fun stuff. ;D Only at one point did I do a ''break check" on Indigo, and he wasn't listening. I got his attention though. ;)
Indigo and I are supposed to have a lesson today, but I honestly don't see that happening in the pouring rain. I'll have another post up later, mabe with pretty amazing pictures that I got of me and Indigo Thursday. See ya.
